Daniel went on a second date with Sarah. It went well. Michael ghosted Rachel. Rachel confronted him. It was awkward. James admitted he wasn’t over his ex. Lisa called him out. Tensions were high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THIS WEEK:<\/strong> Daniel makes a confession. Sarah has a secret. Michael tries to apologize. And someone goes home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE COLD OPEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The camera pans over a luxury apartment. Daniel is sitting on the balcony, looking at the city skyline. He’s holding his phone. He’s not scrolling. He’s just holding it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL (Confessional):<\/strong> I don’t know how to say this. But I think I’m falling for Sarah. And that scares me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut to Sarah. She’s in her room, getting ready. She’s smiling. But there’s something behind her eyes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH (Confessional):<\/strong> I have to tell him something. And I’m terrified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

THE DATE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel and Sarah are at a rooftop bar. The sun is setting. The city is glowing. They’re sitting close. They’re both smiling.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> I have to say something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> Me too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> You go first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> No, you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> Okay. I… I think I’m falling for you. And I don’t know what to do about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah’s face changes. She’s happy. But she’s also scared.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> I’m falling for you too. But there’s something I haven’t told you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> What is it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> I might be moving. To Portland. For a job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel’s face falls. He doesn’t say anything for a moment.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> When?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> In two months. I just found out. I was going to tell you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> Okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> Okay?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> Okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They sit in silence. The city glows. The moment is heavy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

THE CONFRONTATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut to Michael. He’s standing outside Rachel’s apartment. He’s holding flowers. He looks nervous.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MICHAEL (Confessional):<\/strong> I ghosted her. I know. It was wrong. I was scared. But I want to apologize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He knocks. Rachel opens the door. She doesn’t look happy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RACHEL:<\/strong> What are you doing here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MICHAEL:<\/strong> I want to apologize. I was an idiot. I got scared. But I shouldn’t have disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RACHEL:<\/strong> You shouldn’t have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MICHAEL:<\/strong> I know. I’m sorry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RACHEL:<\/strong> Sorry isn’t enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MICHAEL:<\/strong> I know. But it’s a start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel takes the flowers. She doesn’t invite him in. But she doesn’t close the door either.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RACHEL (Confessional):<\/strong> I don’t know if I can trust him again. But I’m willing to listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

THE TRUTH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut to James. He’s on a date with Lisa. They’re at a wine bar. Lisa is direct.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LISA:<\/strong> You’re not over your ex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAMES:<\/strong> I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LISA:<\/strong> You’re not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAMES:<\/strong> I don’t know what you want me to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LISA:<\/strong> I want you to be honest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James pauses. He looks down.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAMES:<\/strong> I’m not over her. But I want to be. I’m trying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LISA:<\/strong> That’s all I needed to hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAMES:<\/strong> Really?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LISA:<\/strong> Really. I can work with honesty. I can’t work with lies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

THE DECISION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut to Daniel and Sarah. They’re on a bench. The night is quiet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> I don’t want to lose you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> You’re not losing me. I’m just moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> Same thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> Not necessarily. We could try long distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> I don’t know if I can do that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SARAH:<\/strong> I don’t know if I can either. But I don’t want to give up without trying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel takes her hand.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DANIEL:<\/strong> Okay. Let’s try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah smiles. She leans in. They kiss.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

THE ELIMINATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut to the elimination ceremony. The host, Maria, is standing in front of the group.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARIA:<\/strong> Tonight, one of you is going home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group looks nervous. Michael and Rachel are standing next to each other. James and Lisa are holding hands. Daniel and Sarah are standing together.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARIA:<\/strong> The person going home is… James.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James’s face falls. Lisa looks shocked.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LISA:<\/strong> Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARIA:<\/strong> Because he’s not ready. He’s still holding onto the past. And he needs to let go before he can love someone new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James nods. He knows it’s true.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAMES:<\/strong> I understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He hugs Lisa. He walks away.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LISA (Confessional):<\/strong> I’m disappointed. But I respect him for being honest. He’s a good guy. He’s just not ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
